Every box contains green cards minus the 1st grade box, which contains blue.I have 8 kids and all in different grades, so when Kid 1 pulls out her 5th grade green cards to study, then Kid 2 pulls out his 4th grade green cards to study, then Kid 3 pulls out his 3rd grade green cards to study, AND THEN Baby 8 comes along and decides to grab the lot of them and throw them across the table....there's no way to identify which cards belong with which grade.Poorly thought out and executed. Makes me want to rip my hair out that someone didn't think this through. Now I'll go and label every single card in every single box (we have 5) so I know where they go.Other than that, the cards are fine. They are cardstock, maybe a bit thinner, and tend to bend, but for their purposes they work okay.UPDATE: I ended up putting a red dot on the cards that belonged in the 3rd grade red box, a purple dot on the ones from the 5th grade purple box, etc.

My son is 6 years old and in the 2nd grade. He will be 7 in a few weeks. I really like using these cards to help introduce new words and definitions to him. So far he has learned the definition of the words: Acquire, Active, Adopt, Advice, Accompany, Accept, Account, Advantage, Actual and Absolute and can use them in sentences to further verify his understanding of the word. I did not get the 2nd grade cards because other reviewers advised they were too easy. We go over 3 cards a week...sometimes 5. A nice pace so by the time the summer gets here we can begin working on the 4th grade words. These words are not too difficult yet not too easy. It provides the perfect balance of challenge without being discouraging to the child. Would definitely recommend.

If the kid has earned an hour of computer with good behavior, he can read me 74 of these or spell 10 of them, or write down maybe 15 of them, and then use the computer. I like this set because it has the same word on both sides, has a definition, and pronunciation. They are not thick cards, but I can live with that : ) They are a useful tool for him to learn new words and spelling, and putting the set away when he's done. Love the durable box too!

These cards are amazing. The word in the front with a sentence to give more context and on the back the word appears again with how to pronounce it as well as a definition. The cards are not thin contrary to some reviews and the box is an nice way to see how many they’ve learned along the way. I highly recommend these cards!

The cards work great for my classroom. I pull out the cards while the students are line, or when I have those extra few minutes to fill. Also, I do LOVE the fact that on one side of the card, the word is written in the standard spelling, while on the other the word is broken up into syllables, which is PERFECT for my classroom of English Language Learners. For Sylvan Learning and publisher: The font size could be larger for both the words and definition. There is a lot of useable and open space on the cards.

These flashcards helped, and it was fun to study! I try to keep things silly and fun for my son, because sometimes school can be boring and even more boring when he gets home & needs to study again! Sometimes he says "enough already!" But he actually enjoyed these cards. His reading has improved because of his confidence from studying with these!

Seems intense for a 3rd header but then my spelling and vocabulary isn’t the best. I’m homeschooling my 3rd grader for the last half of the school year so these are great since my skill set on this subject isn’t great. We do a few each week and review

Great words, and love that the words are phonetically written on the other side..Since I homeschool my 3rd grade son, I go through several words every week, and show him the definitions..He reads the sentence, and we discuss it...These have been a very helpful asset to our schooling..

Seems to me an advance in Zohar scholarship, tracing interweaving of Christian-Jewish influence, areas of possible multiple authorship including and in addition to Moses De Leon, and a profound study of messianic thinking. It enriched my awareness of the interaction of psychoanalysis with Jewish mysticism (see Eigen, Kabbalah and Psychoanalysis, 2012). Matte-Blanco's symmetrical thinking and Bion's oscillation of breaking apart and coming together are writ large in Zoharic images and language. A lot of good examples of what I call "all one" experiencing vis a vis "distinction" experiencing, a distinction-union structure that permeates experience (Eigen, Contact With the Depths, 2011, Chapter 1). Another profound link with psychoanalysis is emphasis on trauma and repair, a sense of defectiveness and need for making things better. Wilfred R. Bion once remarked, "I use the Kabbalah as a framework for psychoanalysis." One of his points of emphasis was difficulty in taking our own emotional intensity. The English translation of the Zohar (or Sepher ha Zohar or Book of Splendor) is 2000 pages long in 5 volumes (by Simon, Sperling, et al). It is only a partial translation as much of it was untranslatable due to symbolism, plays on words, etc. Thus, most modern "commentaries" on the Zohar are less than adequate--most are quite short and simply don't even come close to doing it justice--even when limiting themselves to a few topics of interest. This book is no exception. Furthermore, many modern works are academic exercises without benefit of actual Kabbalistic experiences--meditations, visualizations, etc. Still, the author seems to be respectful of the root text and perhaps I expect too much from modern works. He shows his sensitivity in my favorite quote in his book on page 56: "The inner world of man's imagination took precedence over the external world. The latter owed its very existence to the external projection of thought by means of words."

This is, as the title says, a quick reference, very quick and short. Maybe I was expecting too much. But I was hoping to learn a bit about how to use Alexa with other appliances, such as lights. It has nothiing on that. Don't waste your money on this one.

If you are considering purchasing this book for a child who is in the amazon recommended "Age Range: 4 - 8 years" READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING. I bought this book for my 5 year old son based on the story: a young boy dresses like a ninja, takes on his fear of the monster in the closet and makes friends with the monster. This book certainly delivered the very simple story, but it also delivered something I was not expecting.When the boy is trying to capture the monster, the book describes how the monster becomes scared, "AND RIPS A MASSIVE F*RT!" Yes, it actually has that word in the book in huge letters, with these five quoted words taking up an entire page. I try to keep my son from using words like those at home in order to keep him from using those kind of words away from home. Thank goodness I read the book first before I read it to him.In my opinion, this book would be good for a teenager, NOT for the recommended "Age Range: 4 - 8 years, Grade Level: 1 - 3" in amazon's product description. Your mileage may vary, and that's fine, but I wish a review had existed to warn me before I bought this book.

My little cousin has wanted this for awhile so I looked it up on Amazon and found it at $4 and some cents so I grabbed ahold of that deal. I can't wait to surprise her for her 10th birthday. The book is in perfect condition.

My daughter loves this book. She was starting to get scared of monsters in her room so we bought her a few books that talk about monsters. She loves this one in particular because the monster farts which she thinks is funny (she's 3).

Got this for my 1.5yr nephew for Christmas. The illustrations had great design with great bright colors, and the story completed on a great positive message (as kids books often do). I flipped through it before mailing it out, and even as an adult, I thought it was a fun read.

Love this book! Great story and reads with a purpose. We read a lot and I enjoy the catchy stories that lead themselves to the next page. My son loves this story so much that we bought this copy to take on vacation! Teaches about bravery and facing fears!

This was a great price, so I grabbed it. I’m so glad I did - my toddler loves it and was giggling throughout!

So... So I enjoyed Knocked Up by the Dom.I loved the humour. I loved the assertiveness of Damian. I loved that he was so sweet with her. And the date ...OH...MY...GOD!!!I want a date like that!!!!!!! (If only my husband was that creative ;-))I was a nice story of a girl/woman afraid to lose her child, but also about trust. Letting someone in. That’s the hard part of any relationship. And being a mother myself. I understand her feelings and I got teary when he found out Dean was his. Such a sweet little guy. It pulls at my heart SO easily.Book 2? The extra book. Not so much. To starchy. It was plain boring and took FOR-E-V-E-R to they through. I had to just skip and go to book three. I think Punished is some of her earlier work. Because the style of her writing is different from book two.Book three - The Dom’s Virgin. That was fun. Witty. The banter. I love banter between a heroine and her love interest. But also the friend. Lacey cracked me up. Over all - I got my money’s worth with the three books for one price. Thumbs up. I like her work and her writing. I’d buy more.

Normally, if I found a story to be a bit unbelievable, I'd knock off at least a star. I want to be cocooned in another world, another life, when I read and I just don't find that possible if the story feels fake.That said, this book is clearly make believe. The characters don't pee or have to deal with things just not working out in a catastrophic way. It's a fairy tale. Thing about fairy tales is that I wanted to believe them when I was a child and this is the kind of fairy tale I want to believe as an adult; because, this is really a grown up girl meets prince, prince punishes girl kind of fairy tale. Many mutual orgasms later we get a happily ever after.It's well written and consistent without all of the continuity grammar issues a lot of the books in this genre seem to be riddled with. I did notice a bit more pronoun mix ups than I might be able to forgive in a good editor but they were easy to overlook in light of the quality of the rest of the writing.In the volume I purchased for my kindle, there are actually three books. All were of similar quality and enjoyable in their own right. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised that I finished all three as I usually find that any additional "bonus" materials included by the author are old material added merely to pad out the size of the book. These books were all as delectable as the first.Great fantasy material for a woman who is sometimes still an overlooked plain little girl inside sometimes.

OK, so having immediate sex with a stranger is not something we would ever do in real life. Now that we've got that disclaimer out of the way, I loved the story. I don't read my romances with reality in mind. I want insta-love, hot sexy scenes, and strong men who will care and love their women, even if the woman doesn't need that and can take care of herself. I've read the book before this in the series and enjoyed it as much as this one. Just to be clear, there are 3 books in the series, but they are unconnected characters, so there is no harm in reading them in whatever order you'd like. I'll be heading to the final book soon. Another bonus is that there is additional content within the book, so it's a great deal!

I bought this book awhile ago and only read the “knocked up by the dom” book. I found the secret baby aspect of the story entertaining but the kink was boring and unoriginal. It was an okay short story.I also did not realize that my purchase came with two extra stories. I decided to finish this book now because I was going to be on vacation soon and didn’t want to start the books I really wanted to read before I was officially off so I could savory them. After reading story #2 and #3, I have to say I was bored and a bit disgusted with the idea behind bdsm.Whatever floats your boat then good on you, but I want romance! Over the top, insta-stupid romance. With a side of dirty sex, of course. Bdsm is not in anyway appealing to me. Hitting in anyway is not appealing to me! The author put a huge emphasis on trust being what bdsm is about that I kept rolling my eyes. Each story had these stupid female characters just trusting that a handsome billionaire wouldn’t hurt them. It was ludicrous!Just because a person is rich or good looking or sexually skilled doesn’t make them romance leads. There HAS to be more to the character then that. I will say that in the third book it was more the falling in love, getting to know you, part of a romance but then the “playroom” was brought out so excessively that I was reminded why I didn’t like this book. SmhI have no idea why bdsm is this whole “playroom and toys” thing about it. In book three the male lead was very versatile in NOT utilizing all of the props. He just thought about it a lot. Which shows that a playroom and toys aren’t necessary. It’s just a stupid twist to sell books. And it makes it seem like only rich people can afford to really be bdsm people.That’s another thing, I’m not interested in the life styles of the rich. I don’t read romance for that. And the statistics show that the most successful romance stories are about regular working class people and not the uber rich. Being rich doesn’t lead to HEA’s.Last but not least, if you are selling a secret baby romance for the bdsm crowd then ALL the extra books included should have a secret baby plot line too! I’m just saying.To end, I haven’t even touched on all the things wrong with each individual story either. Story #2 just grossed me out, it was borderline psychotic. Story #3 was so unrealistic from plot premise, to problem solution, to HEA, it was just garbage. Smh

The first book was pretty good. Second book was ok. Third book was pretty ridiculous. The writing is good, but sometimes stilted, and many of the plot points require extreme acrobatics to suspend disbelief. Especially in the third book. He's hospitalized after an attempt on his life... was unconscious for a week... then the Dr says he's all lucky that all he had were some cuts and bruises? Then he's in the hospital for another week? After that, I lost track of the whatever's I said.I'd recommend the first book for a light read, the second one of you have time to kill. Do yourself a favor and skip the third one though.
