I've gotten this before and love the pockets!

I've been using these calendars for about 15 years and love them. Although more notices, invitations, etc. come via email, it's still really useful to have one central calendar where everyone in the family can see what's going on, and where I can tuck in bills, etc. The reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is that the art is always very kitschy. I can usually find something that isn't entirely country hearts and quotes, it would be nice to have at least one calendar option that's a bit more sophisticated. But maybe that just means I'm not really their market :)

My husband and I struggled with infertility for close to 7 years. I did Clomid, IUI, IVF, FET. I got pregnant with IVF but it ended in a chemical pregnancy. I also go pregnant with the FET but miscarried at 7 weeks 4 days. We planned to give IVF another try in Sept. 2016. We moved across the country, bought a house and 2 weeks later (2 days before Christmas) I took a pregnancy test that to my complete and utter shock came back positive. I am now almost 18 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby, a healthy baby girl we are naming Emmerson. I bought this book shortly after my miscarriage and it helped give me hope to hold on to. Now my husband and I read this book to our unborn daughter almost every day (now that she can hear us) and neither of us can make it through without crying.This book is perfect for anyone struggling or who has struggled with infertility, loss or both.We can't wait to read it to our daughter when she is here and remind her every single day how wanted and loved she is.I even bought this book for a friend who has been on a similar journey as me, to help her keep the hope alive and one day be able to read to her precious baby.

I bought this great book for a friend. While I assume this book was written for parents who have adopted, this worked great for parents who struggled with infertility and fertility difficulties. This was a great book to give expectant moms and dads who have undergone fertility treatments to have a child or those who have adopted. What I really loved was the fact that it outlined what the process truly feels like, the excitement of being ready to have a child, the heartbreak when you find out that it isn't a possibility, and the thunderous joy of finally having a child - all without making it religious or too scientific. I cried reading it and cried reading it to my son, who is yet too young to understand this book, but perhaps one day will understand what his parents felt, emotionally, as we journeyed towards becoming parents.

We went through many losses and IVF to get our sweet rainbow baby and this book perfectly exemplifies that story without too much information for a child. I bought three copies to give to people at our fertility center and this ranks as my current very favorite book for our son. It doesn't go into any details of a specific journey, just a couple (non-gendered) that waited and waited for their baby. Makes me weep when I read it.

After years of infertility we are pregnant with twins via IVF. When I read the book I started crying, this explains exactly what my husband and I went though emotionally. I want my babies to know how much we fought to bring them here and how much they are really loved and wanted. This book will do it.

There are not enough good things to say about this book. For anyone who thought they would be like everyone else and just have a baby when they decided to, but then found out that some roads are very long and winding and full of heartbreak, this book is for you. It flawless describes the stages of wishing for a child, the child not coming, the despair and limbo of waiting, and the final glorious moment when your miracle baby finally arrives. As someone who had to wait two years and go through countless procedures and tests, to finally get my miracle baby through IVF, this book makes me ugly cry every time. Buy it for yourself or a friend going through infertility. I bought it before my baby was here and it gave me so much.

I love this book. I originally saw it at Target and was literally crying in the aisle when I read it. It resonated with me because we struggled with infertility for years and this book talks about the waiting in a very simple way that is appropriate for young children. I checked the price on amazon right then and there and ordered it on amazon because the price was cheaper. We used this book as a centerpiece at a table for my Storybook themed baby shower and it was the first book I read to my baby boy when he was born.

As someone who struggled with infertility, this book spoke to us. We want our little one to know just how special he/she is to us because of the complicated journey it took for him/her to get here. Was reading aloud to my husband and unexpectedly started tearing up about halfway through the book because it was completely our story.

It took 4 IVF cycles to make our son. It took at least a dozen reads to be able to get through this book without sobbing. It was written by someone who has been there. “We didn’t make plans”... so perfect. This is a beautiful book, perfect for anyone who struggled to get their baby. It would work for adoption, infertility, and for same sex couples too (the elephants are not gendered). Love it.

We love this cookbook. Every recipe we have tried has been a do over! It’s amazing and all measurements are very accurate. We can’t pick a favorite! If you are looking for a good variety of recipes this is definitely a good starter book. It isn’t a thick book but it has plenty of great recipes!

It's a basic book with a few simple recipes. I was hoping for more. Still, it's a good book, especially for those just getting into cooking Khmer food. There's stuff covered in here like sauces/dips and pastes that are going to be used in most of the recipes. I found the listed spices and herbs (with photos!) used most in Khmer cooking very helpful.

Love the picture and the color and all the idea to a dish

I'm half Cambodian so I know what the deal is when it comes to "Cambodian Cooking". Yeah, whatever. Skip this book. Hang out with some Cambodian people to find out what real Cambodian food tastes like or if you are lucky enough to live in a town with a Cambodian restaurant give them a shot. The only thing I can really equate this to is if you went to a Chinese restaurant and the only thing you could get was something like sesame chicken and combo lo mein and not any actual authentic Chinese cuisine. That is not to say that the dishes are bad but this is definitely not something that somebody who grew up eating Cambodian food would consider "Cambodian Cooking".

Much better than expected. There are so few books dedicated to Cambodian cooking. While it doesn't contain the recipes of traditional home cooking, it does contain a good selection of dishes that you would find in Cambodian restaurants. Do yourself a favor and buy this book for yourself.

Having knowing how to cook Cambodian food, This cookbook is fantastic as a gift for those who love to eat delicious food and cook it themselves :)

In this publication Lilt Kids Coloring Books has created a product for a very special market - adults who want something a bit racier and naughtier than your standard coloring book. If you are at all offended by off-color language, then I encourage you to pass this one by and check out one of their standard coloring books. However, if you are looking for a coloring book that will allow you to very colorfully and artfully express your frustrations and you aren't offended by swearing or foul language, then "No F*'s Given" may be just the coloring book you have been looking for. It's hard not to smile while coloring these beautiful images that carry off-color epithets, name calling, and insults. It would also make a great gift for your most foul mouthed friends.As with most of the Lilt Kids Coloring books has a couple of bonus things that I really like: There are 2 pages for "color testing" that have small boxes so you can check your marker color before you commit to coloring your image. It's nice to have that in the book instead of having to search for scrap paper every time. They also include bonus images from other coloring books in their series - plus mini images of the covers that can also be colored.While I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest, unbiased review I am happy to say I would definitely buy it again for myself or as a gift for someone else.

I am rating this book only three stars, not because there's anything wrong with it per se, but just regarding its ability to prepare a person to take and pass the LX0-103 and LX0-104 tests (which I took and passed today, in fact, on my first attempt).But first off, let me cover the good stuff. It is well-written and, as someone with over a dozen years of Unix/Linux experience (including casual sysadmin work), I could find nothing factually wrong with it. The second half of the book, which covered the LX0-104 exam objectives, was definitely on-point relative to the exam I took today.It's the first half, the LX0-103 preparation portion, that was not really adequate. In a way, it's not the book's fault; the 103 test felt more like a command-line trivia test than a legitimate test of my Linux experience/knowledge, expecting me to be able to fill in the blanks (literally) regarding distribution-specific file names, file locations, and obscure options and switches. And yet, this is a test prep book, meaning that its job was supposed to be to prepare me for the level of specificity that I needed to be able to provide on the test; the relatively simple multiple-choice questions in the book, as well as the practice tests that you can unlock on the Sybex site, hardly approached the level of difficulty that I encountered on the real 103 test, and didn't even hint at the existence of fill-in-the-blank questions. I mean, I did pass the 103 (barely), but it's not as if some of my correct answers didn't come from previous knowledge/experience rather than the book.It is a good Linux book, and don't take anything I've said to mean otherwise. But I do wish it had worked me a bit harder on the 103 stuff, because (based on the book/website's practice questions) I went into that exam much more confident than I should have been.

I used the Kindle version of this book and it was very good. It covered the objectives clearly, and provided good reviews at the end of the chapters. It also breaks the book in two, one major section for each test. e.g. Chapters 1-5 are for LX0-103, 6-10 are for LX0-104.The best part of the book is access to Sybex's website for their example tests, which provides two example tests. Each are about 50 questions each, many of the questions are very close or the same as the actual tests. Also, when you review the results it provides the "whys" for all answers. e.g. Answer B is incorrect for... Answer A,and D are correct because... The tests are modeled very well to help get the feel for actual test. e.g. Choose two answers..., choose three answers..., choose all that apply... The only part that is bad is that the test is not all multiple choice, some questions are fill in the blank, which I think is much harder.To prepare for the test I read this book through once, then took the Sybex test twice, then took the test.After using this book the actual test for LX0-103 took me about 20 minutes to complete, and another 20 to review. I was done in 45 minutes, start to finish. And I passed. On to test 2, LX0-104.EDIT: Took test two, LX0-104, same result. Test took about 45 minutes totdal from start to finish, passing. Good book, better software. Obtaining this cert also provides LPIC-1 cert, which also provides the Suse cert. Three certs in one. Good luck.

TL;DR: There are better books for anything linux related that you could want to learn. Look for specific books on your topic or the Pearson book if you are studying for the linux+ test.There are two reasons for why you would want to buy a book like this 1) if you want to study for the linux+ exam 2) if you want to get a general overview of linux. This book does neither particularly well and is in fact disappointing in some areas.1)Since this is a book specifically for the linux+ exam the book should adequately prepare the reader for the exam. Now I don't think there is any one resource that will guarantee that you will be able to pass the exam after reading, but this book does this job especially poorly. There are other books ( namely Pearsons) that give better explanation, more information, and a better focus on the test. The online tests that are provided are nice but they make the test seem significantly easier than it is in reality. The exercises in the book are almost always trivial and don't really help you get a deeper understanding of the material. This can give a student the false pretense that they will do well on the exam with no problems but is actually unprepared. So the book under-prepares you but gives the illusion that you are not.2)The book states that it would be a good resource to anyone that wants to learn more about linux. While this book is better than nothing there are plenty of books that would give a better introduction to linux. If you are a beginner this book is not presented in a way that will get you used to using linux. It wants to be a test prep book and presents itself as such. If you are more experienced the book doesn't go in depth enough for you to really get much out of it. Also, because this is a book for the exam there are a lot of features that are discussed that you will never use and aren't integral to your understanding of the system as a beginner.Also something to note is some of the questions given in the book do not have the answers in the reading. It seems pretty ridiculous that the author will expect knowledge of the student that was not included in the text when this is supposed to be a test prep book.

Amazon relly should fix this deceptive description. Also, the publishers' support is worthless, no number to call and takes days to answer emails.

If you are needing online access to MindTap assignments and activities, you will have to pay an additional fee to Cengage. The access code that comes with this book does not get you into MindTap. I just discovered that in class when I tried to login to do an assignment. I wish this had been clarified in the posting. I thought I was getting full access when I purchased this item.

If you need this textbook for a class and you also need the online materials, I suggest just buying your access directly from Cengage. The access code that comes with this book basically just the eBook, so if you needed MindTap, you'll need to pay an extra $40 + tax to upgrade your access. The description said this book came with the code. It did have a code but had already been used. Would not have bought this book of I would have known.

One of the most useful textbooks I have ever gotten. If you can afford to buy instead of rent I recommend doing so. This book teaches you how to write a resume, prepare for an interview, write a professional email and so much more. I wish I had bought this. Instead I ended up making copies of the pages I knew would be useful in the future. When my friend from another school felt underprepared for the job hunting process I let her make copies of some of the pages too and she said it was really useful during her interviewing process. Now she is an accountant with a starting salary of $60,000!I definitely never recommend buying books because who has the money for that, but some books are worth investing in and this is definitely one of those!

I got this book for my business class. There chapters are quick reads and most of it is common sense, but it was a good enough book with some helpful things to help in business. I enjoyed reading the difference between a memo and email and it had some helpful stuff here and there

Not a great book, but not horrible. I can't comment if the organization of the book would be good start to finish as our professor has us jump chapters. There are a lot of graphics, almost too many. I also find it confusing when graphics are referenced on completely different pages causing you to flip back and forth. It's horribly distracting.

I was not impressed with the condition of the book, but it was only a rental so I cannot complain too much. Both the cover and back were bent and curled. I did serve it's purpose though.
